1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Paymark ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform.

Paymark provides an online marketplace for digital children's ebook purchases. Your use of these services is governed by these terms alongside any additional policies referenced herein.

2. Use of the Platform

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make purchases on Paymark. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Purchases made on behalf of children must be completed by a parent or guardian.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at paymark.in@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Reproduce, redistribute, or resell any purchased ebook without authorisation
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features
• Upload or transmit any malicious code or harmful content
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation
• Engage in any fraudulent or unlawful activity

3. Ebook Purchases

All ebooks sold on Paymark are digital products delivered electronically. Upon successful payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and read the purchased content for personal, non-commercial use within your household.

Licensing

You do not own the ebook content; you purchase a limited licence to read it. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any purchased ebook. Sharing your purchased ebook with anyone outside your immediate household is not permitted.

Digital Rights Management

Some ebooks may be protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology. Circumventing DRM protection is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination without refund.

Content Standards

All ebooks on the Paymark platform are curated for children and reviewed for age-appropriateness. Age range recommendations are clearly displayed on each product page and should be used as a guide by parents and guardians.

4. Return & Refund Policy

4.1 Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds are only granted in the following circumstances:

• Technical fault: The ebook file is corrupted, unreadable, or cannot be opened — reported within 24 hours of purchase.
• Wrong item delivered: You received a different ebook than the one you ordered.
• Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same title due to a payment system error.

Refunds will not be issued for change of mind, accidental purchase after the file has been accessed, or dissatisfaction with the content. Contact paymark.in@gmail.com within 24 hours of purchase with your order ID and a description of the issue.

4.2 Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. To raise a refund request, email paymark.in@gmail.com with your registered email address, order ID, and reason for refund.

5. Pricing and Payments

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes. Paymark accepts UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and other supported payment methods. Prices are subject to change at any time; the price displayed at checkout is the price you pay.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Paymark platform — including the website design, logo, text, graphics, and software — is the intellectual property of Paymark or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission. Ebook content remains the intellectual property of the respective authors and publishers.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Paymark makes no warranties regarding the uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or completeness of the Platform or its content. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paymark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

9. Changes to These Terms

Paymark reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users by email for any significant changes.
